Race for Africa - Reaches Morocco!
Cyclists Richard Barnes and Sam Towndrow have reached Africa in 13 days on their round trip of 3,000 miles.
The team have set themselves an ambitious target of 30 days to complete this gruelling challenge. They set out from Kew Gardens, at 10.30 on Wednesday 4th May, waved off by Bad Girls star Antonia Okonma. The team will be welcomed back by Antonia at the Thames Barrier Park on Friday 3rd June at 10.30 am. This will be followed by a celebrity party at Century, Shaftesbury Avenue, from 7pm until 1 am.
